The British Dyslexia Association International Conference is back for 2021, and this year they’re focusing on bringing you even more exciting opportunities to learn from leading experts in the fields of dyslexia and dyscalculia. There’s a video packed full of useful information available on the BDA’s website here, that explains a little about what they’re all about and what this first entirely online international conference means for the BDA.

Taking place over the 20th and 21st of May 2021, there’s still time to register  - and due to the impact of Covid-19, the event is entirely virtual, meaning that this wonderful bank of resources and information is available to the dyslexia and dyscalculia communities on an international scale. Delegates will be all be able to access the platform from the 17th of May.

Featuring stellar keynote speakers such as renowned researcher and author Professor Stanislas Dehaene, chair of Experimental Cognitive Psychology at the Collége de France in Paris and the chair of the BDA International Conference itself, Oxford Brookes’ Professor Vince Connelly, it’s set to be a compelling couple of days. The conference itself is more than just a webinar, too – it’s hosted on a state-of-the-art virtual platform that ensures an interactive experience for all.

Succeed With Dyslexia spoke to Nick Posford, the CEO of the British Dyslexia Association in an exclusive interview for our new dyslexia current affairs series on YouTube, Dyslexia News. You can catch up with Nick and his vision for the BDA conference this year here, as well as taking a deep dive into neurodiversity in business, the new dyslexia screening legislation in California, and much more!
