Succeed With Dyslexia is all about creativity this summer!
Covid-19 lockdowns and the advent of social distancing have seen us all picking up the paintbrushes, getting good at DIY and baking up a storm, and we wanted to celebrate it – and who better to celebrate it with than the people who make up our amazing and vibrant global dyslexia community?
We’ve been on a mission to round up some of the zaniest and most creative minds out there to spread some positivity about dyslexia and literacy differences. Join us for a series of Instagram live sessions over at the SWD Instagram, where we’ll be working with some stellar creative forces and chatting to them about everything from their creative process and what inspires them to exploring their own relationships with dyslexia.
We'll be chatting to Mariah Ankenman (a bestselling author who specialises in swoon-worthy romances and heart-stopping heroes), Pallav Chander (a contemporary artist whose paintings explore the neurodiverse experience using form, texture and colour) and Russell Jones Jr. (a singer and performer whose credits even include our fav Saturday-night classic The X Factor).
So save the date and settle in with a cosy brew, a cocktail or two (or even a huge slab of cake, it's been a weird year) for some seriously creative sessions with some amazing individuals with dyslexia. We'll see you there!
